I just had a moment here while at the hospital with my oldest daughter Emily, Emily was bitten by a spider earlier last week, the bite became infected and she contracted a staph infection called mersa.

Today is dedicated to getting all or most of the pictures that I had taken while visiting my daughter and grandson in early April and before I ended up in the hospital having surgery. Please bare with me, some of the pictures aren’t the best, I currently don’t have a camera of my own and the one I used was borrowed and I wasn’t quite sure on the use of most of the settings. Plus, disregard some of the shots of myself, at the time I wasn’t feeling well and it certainly shows in my face, but since I hadnt seen or had my pictures taken with my Lil Munchie for quite sometime, I decided to post them anyway

Its good to be able to finally say, that things are slowly but surely getting better,mentally, physically,health wise and family stuff in general. Things are starting to look up and I am now just starting to see small glimpse of the glittery light at the end of the once so very dark n drab,pitch black,darker than dark,so narrow and never ending tunnel, that I once thought I would never make it to the other end of, the brighter side of life. It seems as though I have been struggling for so very long,just trying to break through the darkness and find my way through the never ending tunnel, in hopes to find my way or even a small path or a fork in the road, that might lead  to some happiness.

Well yesterday (friday) I finally had my surgery and hopefully all is fixed and now on the road to recovery. The surgery took longer than they had planned on and the type of surgery changed also. They thought they would be able to take care of everything by way of a laproscopy but after getting in there found more complications than they had seen on the catscans. They had origanily estimated the surgery to take 45 minutes up to an hour, which turned into 8 hours. they ended up cutting me completely open i have a huge inscision and well over 50 staples plus the staples from where they started to go in by laproscopy .I also woke up with an NG tube (yikes) a central line and two chest tubes. and three drains,I have so many tubes and wires going every which way. I am so scared to move in fear if I move wrong that I will pull something out. I want to say the worst out of all the tubes is the NG tube that goes from my nose to my stomach…this is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever endured.(I wanted to take a picture of how I look for my scrapbook,blog and to share with my older children who couldn’t be here for me, but I can’t get anyone to come up to visit with me let alone to bring up a camera to take some pics.LOL..more about this later.So anyways…

wow…its Friday already…How fast this week has gone by.  I am still visiting with my daughter and grandbaby.  I am just soaking up every bit of lovins that I can in the short time I am with my lil man He is just the sweetest but baddest thing.LMBO.

In a couple hours I will be on the road and on my way to see my lil grandson DeOndrea.  I plan on being there for a week.  I am so excited, I haven’t seen him or my other three kids since New Years.

I am so happy/excited for Tricia and her hubby Nate.  Tricia has been waiting since January for a double lung transplant. well today the transplant team informed them that there was a suitable match.  She went into surgery this evening and  the surgery wont be over till about 3 or 4 am.
